Hastings Football Club has pleasure in announcing the appointments of it’s Senior, Reserves and Under Eighteen Coach for season 2010.

Senior Coach – Glenn Michie

Glen comes to Hastings as a highly recommended footballer and person with all the credentials required to become a fantastic asset to the Hastings Football Club.

Glenn is a Police Officer, has just turned 29 and has played 212 Senior games, he has never played in the reserves throughout his impressive career.

The Hastings Football Club extends a big welcome to Glen and his wife Amanda who is expecting their first child very soon.

1998-99: At the age of 17 Glenn began his senior football career with Newborough
in the Mid-Gippsland Football League where he played 37 games including a premiership.

2000: Played 21 games with Moe in the West Gippsland Latrobe Football League where he was runner-up in the League Goal kicking, WGLFL Inter-League rep as well as WGLFL team of the year.

2001: Glenn made the move to Premier club YCW where he had an immediate impact in the MPNFL winning the club leading Goal Kicker as well as being selected in the Inter-League team.

2002: Leading Goal Kicker at YCW.

2003: Premiership and Leading Goal-Kicker at Balwyn in the Southern Football League.

2004: Returned to YCW- Leading Goal Kicker.

2005: Kicked 50 goals and was selected in the MPNFL team of the year.

2006: YCW Vice Captain, leading Goal Kicker.

2007: YCW Vice Captain and Assistant Coach.

2008: YCW deputy Vice Captain and Assistant Coach.

2009: Langwarrin Assistant Coach.






Reserves Coach - Craig Perrott

Craig began his Football career as a junior in Under 9’s at Hastings where he progressed right through the junior ranks to Under 18’s, he then went on to become a Hastings Premiership player in both Seniors and Reserves.

Craig has developed into a highly respected member of the Club whose outstanding knowledge of Football will ensure he will quickly become a very successful Coach.

Craig has indicated his main priority will be to actively promote young players and develop them into senior players.

Under Eighteens Coach – Stuart Gay

Hastings Football Club extends a big welcome to Stuart, his wife Karen and his family.

Stuart’s achievements as a coach of junior footballers, is widely respected, where has had a very successful Coaching career at Crib Point.

During his time as Inter-League Coach of the MPNFL Under 17’s and Under18’s both teams achieved enormous success winning several Country Championships.

Hastings Football Club considers itself extremely fortunate to obtain the services of a Coach of Stuart’s proven ability to actively assist with the promotion and development of it’s talented group of young local players.
