Senior Coach

Tyson Lane Former Collingwood and Western Bulldogs player Tyson Lane has been appointed senior coach of the Hastings Football Club for seasons 2008/2009. After playing 63 senior games of AFL between 1995 and 2001, Tyson went North to Cairns to start his coaching career. He had assistant coaching roles at North Cairns and Manunda Hawks, which saw both teams win Premierships in that time. In 2007, Tyson was assistant coach with the Swan Districts, which compete in the very strong WAFL. The Hastings Football Club is very excited to begin this partnership with Tyson and with his experience and proven ability to be able to work with young players, he feels that the fortunes of the Hastings Football Club will turn around very quickly.
